My name is Brycen Wood. I’m 22 years old and I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. I’m usually outside playing disc golf or inside learning a board game. I just recently became Aspen’s dad in 2024. I may not know what I’m doing, but at least I’ll come back home with the milk. On this blog I’ll be sharing my perspective on being married to a nurse, and being a part time stay at home dad.

My name is Brianna Wood. I am a Registered Nurse and I currently work at a Children’s Psychiatric Hospital. I’m 24 years old and just recently gave birth to Aspen in 2024. I love to hike and to read and have been doing both of those things for as long as I can remember. It has always been my dream to be a mom and I’m finding it different than I expected, but no less fulfilling. My next dream is to hike the Appalachian Trail, which I have been dreaming about since 2015. On this blog I’ll be talking about whatever, whether it be about being a new mom, hiking with a baby, or trying to balance a full time job between all of that.

Aspen was born in 2024. She loves the outdoors just as much as us. As the first child she is the first “tree” to be growing in our “forest.” She has plenty of growing to do and plenty of lessons to teach us too.
